I also applied for my passport this morning after being chastised on the the first day of my international prep class for not doing so. But when I told the lady I'm leaving in September she said it's nice to have people apply early like me. I felt like a responsible person again. Leaving the country for the first time is stressful. Especially if you're doing it alone. Everyone pray I don't get lost or kicked out of a country or miss a plane. I hate airports and all government buildings. They legitimately make my stomach churn.
I know I've been pushing Sufjan a lot lately, but I bought his "All Delighted People" EP and am kind of in love. Especially Heirloom.
