Exhibit A: conversation on the drive to church this morning.
"I need to thop this lisp." "Theriously though, just thop." "Theriously..."
Exhibit B: conversation just had
"Do we have any friends?" "Yes." "Are you thure? 'Cause I'm not so thure..."
I guess the answer to that question is debatable.
Anyway, that explains the title of this blog post. Sort of. The other explanation is the other day Kenzie came up the fabulous idea to make a summer bucket list so we can be cool and exciting like other people. We've been compiling it for the past few days and will probably add to it as we become more creative, but here it is as of today:
- Teach Arison to drive a stick
- Roadtrip somewhere out of state
- Go to a fair
- Go to an outdoor concert/Twilight Concert Series
- Go camping
- Make homemade ice cream
- Have a fire in our backyard and cook food over it (real food, like hobo packs, not s’mores)
- Have a lemonade stand
- Make summer CD
- Plant flowers in our yard
- Draw with sidewalk chalk
- Tie-dye something
- Use our Pass of all Passes
- Sleep outside on the grass
- Hike the Y
- Bake something real delish, write flirty notes to go with it, and leave it anonymously for certain delightful boys who will remain unnamed on this blog
- Get tan
- Go to the farmer’s market
- See Titanic in the Dollar Theater
- Read poolside/read at the park
- Picnic
- Makenzie should go to a Habitat build :)
- Have a totally awesome 4th of July with watermelon, corn, hamburgers, salad, ice cream and fireworks. AMERICA!
- Attend BYU Soccer game
- Get Alison a new computer
We will also be documenting all of our adventures (or at least trying to) via my dear friend Vincent (aka, my camera).
